TIP: Quickly access Avocode Project manager from the Sketch app with a simple shortcut: CMD + P.

Artboards and Pages

Each Sketch file you upload to Avocode becomes a sort of a subfolder in the project where you put it.

You either display ALL artboards or switch between individual PAGES.

You can exclude Pages or Artboards from syncing to Avocode by renaming them:

  • just add _ at the beginning of the _Page or _Artboard name.

  • or just add - at the beginning of the -Page or -Artboard name.

This workflow should speed things up when you’re syncing bigger Sketch files.

Note:  If the Pages in your Sketch files are not renamed, you will see them in the top bar as Page 1, Page 2, and so on.

Artboards are displayed as separate designs. You can rename or delete them.

How to switch between artboards from the Inspect/ Comment mode?

Click on the artboard name to see a list of all artboards in the file.

☝🏼Symbol Overrides and Resizable Symbols work only with designs that are imported directly to Avocode or with the Avocode Sketch plugin v. 50.0.0 and higher.

Sketch Symbols look and behave like a normal layer - even with overrides.

If you need to access Symbols master, just click on Open Symbol and the master version will open in a new tab.

Whenever you sync a Sketch file with library symbols, the plugin will automatically sync the symbols as if they were normal symbols, so you don't need to do anything yourself.
