JPEG optimization

JPEG image assets are automatically optimized with MozJPEG. It reduces file sizes of JPEG images while retaining quality and compatibility with the vast majority of the world's deployed decoders.

NOTE: JPEG optimization works only in the desktop app and not in the web app.

PNG optimization

PNG image assets are optimized via UPNG.js - a lossy minification of PNG files, similar to TinyPNG and other tools. It performs color quantization using the k-means algorithm.

SVG optimization

SVG image assets are automatically optimized with SVGO. It's a Node.js-based tool which converts SVG-as-XML data into SVG-as-JS AST representation. The result? Lightweight vector shape file made only from the actual curves, no extra stuff like the editor metadata. As the matter of fact, the SVGO optimization can save up to 80% of file size.

How to disable Image optimization?

Go to App preferences and check the box aside Disable export result optimization. This will turn off image optimization for all image formats.

2. Disable the export optimization
